Today was a fantastic sightseeing day! I started with the on Chao Phraya River and got off at Tha Thien. The first temple was Wat Arun with its impressive buildings. Then I took the ferry boat back to Wat Phra Kaeo, also known as the temple of the emerald buddha & Grand Palace. This was just overwhelming. The whole area i incredibly big and the beauty of the monuments hard to describe. I will try to insert some photos later. The last temple was Wat Po which impresses with the largest laying buddha 46m long and 15m high. The whole building is filled with the statue in gold. I was also amazed by the number of other buddhas kept along some walls within the sight. After that I decided to walk to the flower, fruit and vegetable market. Massive piles of whatever is sold there. Everything looked extremely fresh. I continued my walk to Chinatown, which I found too busy to walk through the market. Therefore I took a taxi to go back. I completed my day with a relaxing foot massage of one hour in order to recover them from the long walks today.

Hi Peter,

So good to hear from you and to know you are back on your non-stop travelling around the World. I am on vacations myself, but I always come back to the US. I cannot help it. I love this crap! I did my first All-gay cruise ever. It was a lot of fun and a lot of party and meeting very nice people. Hope to hear from you soon and keep posting this very nice trip of yours.

Enjoy it! Best regards from rainy switzerland! Remo

Hi Peter, so nice to read the stories of the first 3 days of your trip to South East Asia. I'm really wonderung what your plans are to spend such a long time far from home. You're a very closed friend since many years - I'm really disapointed not seeing you and speaking you every week, like it was before. I'm sure that you need this time far from Zurich to get new energie and new ideas for the life after Vögele. I'm proud on you that you did this change - many people are speaking about a changing the live, but nobody really does it. You're allways in a good mood, openminded and relaxed. I don't care about you, finding a new inspiration after coming back home. I wish you that the dreams and hopes in you mind will be trough the next weeks. Werner and me try to create a new life in Vienna - mostly step by step. There are allways some troubles if you live togehter, but also nice and closed time and a lot of new inspiration. Nevertherless I'm missing Switzerland in my heart. Living in Zurich is amazing, the life is so different and sometimes the language as well. My life is going to change new, I have new energie I dont know why - I really like to have a new and great life here, with new friends and and a wonderful future. I'm working every day at home to get a new job, next weekt I'll have 2 interviews and also starting a brush up for Excel. On Saturday we invitet 2 friends of Werner for dinner at our place. They are nice and smart. Last Sunday my grandmother in Sicily diet, she was 92 years old, my mother called me yesterday. That are the very news for the moment. Take care and speak you soon.
