Wat Mahathat. One of the most famous picture taken in Ayutthaya.The trip to Ayutthaya was one of the major highlights so far. The ancient capital of Thailand for 417 years has been registered as a world heritage by UNESCO. I think the inserted pictures speak for themselves. The number of fantastic old wats is incredible. Even though the whole area is quite small in comparison with some major capitals, the history one can experience is impressive. By the way, Wat is a temple monastery. I took a Mini Van to go there and upon arrival I booked a Tuk Tuk driver for 4 hours and he showed me the very best selection of temples and sights. A day trip is exhausting but ok.

Second try! Irgendwie habe ich mich wohl am Mi bisschen blöd angestellt. Mein Kommentar ist jedenfalls nicht drauf.
